Freezing Systems
We offer our RSW systems with the option to be dual-temp systems, able to chill or freeze in brine, in a variety of sizes and power options. We also build blast freezer systems and our popular hatch-mounted blast freezer which is easily removed to prepare for a different fishery. With our products and expertise, we have helped many fishers thrive in multiple fisheries with combination chilling and freezing systems.
Brine Freezing
Brine freezing systems are like those used for RSW, but allow for temperatures near 0°F. When freezing in brine, the product is cooled quickly and uniformly. Any of our RSW systems 8.5-Tons and bigger can be purchased as a dual-function RSW/Brine system.
Blast Freezing
Quickly bring down the temperature of your hold to -40°F (nominal). This system utilizes a low-temp compressor and remotely mounted blast evaporator.
Standard Sizes: 2-5 Ton, 1,000 lbs/day, 3,500 lbs/day
HMB-Hatch Mount Blast
A self-contained version of the blast freezer - this shrouded system mounts directly to a hatch cover for easy installation and removal allowing you to easily switch between fisheries.
